Twenty years before the film's events, the original Gotengo froze Godzilla in Antarctica. However, when the Xiliens unleashed a global kaiju assault, the Earth Defense Force's new Gotengo was forced to awaken Godzilla to combat the threats, dubbing him "Earth's Strongest Weapon." This particular Godzilla boasts a more muscular and agile physique, capable of surprisingly nimble actions like intercepting a soccer ball. The "S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (2004)" figure is meticulously crafted by master Godzilla sculptor Yuuji Sakai, who oversaw its prototyping, coloring, and overall design. Based directly on the suit used in the film, the figure faithfully recreates every intricate detail, from its fierce orange-red eyes and yellowish claws to the distinct coloration of its dorsal fins.
