Following a string of hit releases from the massively popular anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," Max Factory's acclaimed "figma" action figure line is bringing the heat with the fan-favorite Hashira, figma Kyojuro Rengoku! The figure is scheduled for a September 2022 release with a suggested retail price of 12,000 JPY.
Kyojuro Rengoku is the Flame Hashira, one of the most elite swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Corps and a master of "Flame Breathing." He possesses a cheerful and optimistic personality, almost always seen with a passionate smile on his face. Though he hails from a distinguished family that has practiced Flame Breathing for generations, his father fell into despair after his mother's death. Rengoku became the Flame Hashira through self-study and relentless training, honing his immense natural talent for swordsmanship. His charismatic leadership has earned him the deep trust of everyone in the Demon Slayer Corps.
The figma Kyojuro Rengoku stands approximately 15.5 cm tall, transforming the beloved Hashira into a fully articulated figma. The sculpt faithfully captures his signature features, including his blazing, flame-like hair and distinct eyebrows. He comes with three interchangeable face plates: a standard confident smile, a cheerful eating expression (you can almost hear him yelling "Umai!"), and an injured, bloodied combat face. Combined with various hand parts for his arms-crossed pose, holding his bento box, or wielding his sword, you can recreate all of the Hashira's iconic moments! (The only thing missing is a donut accessory.)
