BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division is set to release the latest addition to its popular "Figure-rise Standard" character model kit series: "Shion Shishibe" from the original robot anime "Kyoukai Senki" (AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline). This new kit is scheduled for official release on December 18, 2021.
Shion Shishibe, one of the three main protagonists of "Kyoukai Senki," is a 16-year-old girl who pilots the high-mobility unit MAILeS Ghost. From a young age, she trained in traditional naginatajutsu and inherited her grandfather's pottery skills. With a gentle and kind personality, she joins the resistance organization "Yatagarasu" to revive her ancestral "Himeno-yaki" pottery. Despite her apprehension towards combat, she unleashes formidable battle capabilities under the guidance of the AI Nayuta.
The "Figure-rise Standard Shion Shishibe" kit boasts intricate part separation and color molding, allowing builders to accurately recreate her distinctive white jacket and other attire from the series, complete with articulated joints. Interchangeable face parts include a pre-printed "smiling face," along with "angry" and "surprised" expressions that can be completed with included decals. Additional accessories feature open and clenched interchangeable hand parts, and the AI unit "Nayuta" for display.
