Japanese model kit manufacturer Kotobukiya recently announced new details for their popular "Megami Device" series, which combines mechanical elements with bishoujo bodies. The latest reveal is the KOTOBUKIYA SHOP exclusive item, "Shura Kyubi Enbura," with sales information expected in late January 2022.
Designed by Nidy-2D-, the "Kyubi" unit from the Shura series is an enhanced version of the Shura Ninja. It integrates the original body sculpt with additional armor and weaponry inspired by the mythical "Nine-Tailed Fox." This significantly boosts its overall defense and weight, while still maintaining aerial mobility comparable to the aerial-type Megami. Furthermore, its versatile armor allows for various combinations, enabling users to create multiple forms such as "Kyubi Mode," "Skirt Mode," and "Cape Mode," much like the M.S.G. (Modeling Support Goods) series, adapting to the user's preferences.
Based on the information released so far, the "Shura Kyubi Enbura" features entirely new color molding compared to the original kit. Its armor is now a vibrant, flame-like vermilion, perfectly matching its name. The transparent parts have been changed to clear green, complemented by intricate patterns created with gold body markings, resulting in a truly gorgeous design.
