Japanese toy company MEDICOM TOY recently announced a new X-Men-themed release from Marvel Comics for its MAFEX 6-inch action figure line. CYCLOPS is making another appearance, this time in a comic variant suit version, slated for an October 2022 release.
Standing approximately 16 cm tall, this figure is based on Cyclops' X-Factor blue and white costume from the comics. Compared to his classic yellow and blue suit, this variant features a different color scheme and lacks the shoulder strap design, giving it a more streamlined aesthetic. The most distinctive feature of this suit is the "X" emblem extending from the torso. The MAFEX action figure also showcases a glossy finish on the blue sections. However, the head sculpts do not feature the full cowl design from the comics, instead opting for his exposed hair look, with three interchangeable versions included. It also comes with various Optic Blast effect parts.
