Japanese figure manufacturer MegaHouse today announced the latest addition to their "Lucrea" character figure series: "Joker" from the popular video game "Persona 5 Royal," slated for release in late August 2022.
The protagonist, codenamed Joker, was once an ordinary high school student. Though quiet, he possessed a strong sense of justice. Framed by a politician, he was left with an assault record and expelled from school. Forced to transfer to Tokyo, his yearning for freedom and his anger at being oppressed by authority awakened his Persona abilities. He then decided to form the "Phantom Thieves of Hearts" with his companions, using their Persona powers to steal the distorted desires from the hearts of corrupt "evildoers," forcing them to repent.
The "Lucrea Joker" figure captures his iconic, sleek black Phantom Thief outfit, dynamically sculpted in a familiar pose from the game. It features a flowing coat and intricate wrinkle details. With interchangeable front hair and hand parts, collectors can display him with or without his mask, and swap between his dagger and pistol. Pair him with the separately sold "Lucrea Crow Loki ver. (Goro Akechi)" to recreate their epic "SHOW TIME" scene.
