KOTOBUKIYA, the Japanese toy company, recently unveiled the latest details for "Alyzeus," an original character designed by artist Fumikane Shimada for their popular "Frame Arms Girl" Bishoujo model kit series. Pre-orders are expected to open in early February 2022.
Alyzeus (アルシア) is an original character who graced the cover of Fumikane Shimada's second art book, "Shimada Fumikane ART WORKS II," released after a 12-year hiatus. She is depicted as a military-style girl equipped with various high-tech gear.
The "Alyzeus" model kit features a highly articulated body that faithfully recreates her revealing military outfit. Details not visible in the original illustration, such as her long sword, backpack, and leg mechanisms, have been meticulously sculpted. Leveraging the expertise developed through the Frame Arms Girl line, the kit includes three highly detailed, pre-painted face parts. Her arms can be swapped between sleeved and mechanical versions. For weaponry, her rifle features an adjustable stock, and her sword can be stored within its sheath.
The kit boasts 3mm ports on her back, waist, and outer thighs, allowing for extensive customization with various compatible parts. Furthermore, her wrist, leg, head, and face parts are fully interchangeable with other "Frame Arms Girl" kits, enabling collectors to mix and match limbs and expressions, or even use the Alyzeus body with other characters! As a special bonus, purchases made through the KOTOBUKIYA SHOP will include an exclusive "special display base featuring original artwork by Fumikane Shimada."
