Japan's BANDAI Co., Ltd.'s candy toy division, BANDAI CANDY, is back with the fourth installment in its popular "The Battle Cats Kids" shokugan series! Following the success of the first "The Battle Cats Kids" set, "Kids 2", and "Kids 3", the new "The Battle Cats Kids 4" (にゃんこ大戦争キッズ4) shokugan line features 14 different characters. Each box will retail for 180 JPY and is slated for a late January 2022 release.
Developed by Japan's PONOS Corporation, the mobile game "The Battle Cats" is a wildly popular, easy-to-play side-scrolling tower defense title starring a quirky cast of humorous and often absurd felines. The game has previously hosted numerous collaborations with anime and video game franchises, including "Street Fighter V" and "Neon Genesis Evangelion," and is also available on Nintendo Switch. As of June 2020, the game boasted over 51 million downloads, cementing its status as a fan favorite.
The "The Battle Cats Kids 4" shokugan figures are crafted from soft vinyl, bringing the game's adorable and comical characters to life in three dimensions. This fourth wave introduces 14 fan-favorite characters, including the attack forms of Normal Cat and Tank Cat, as well as the notorious Doge, Cats in a Box, Macho Cat, Jurassic Cat, Clockwork Cat, Bean Cats, Crazed Cat, Crazed Tank Cat, Wheel Cat, Gold Cat, Crazed Mohawk Cat, and the Cat Base. Collect these charming little companions to recreate your favorite cat-filled game moments!
