PLEX Reveals Dragon Ball Arise Tambourine Normal & Special Editions, Includes Iconic Sealed Rice Cooker!

PLEX Corporation, a Japanese company known for its "Dragon Ball Arise" series based on the popular "Dragon Ball" anime, is once again expanding the line. Following releases like King Piccolo, King Piccolo Ver. B, King Piccolo Ver. C, and Cymbal, PLEX is now releasing the highly anticipated "Tambourine Normal Edition / Special Edition" pre-painted PVC figure. This subordinate of King Piccolo is priced at a suggested 17,600 JPY and is currently available for pre-order on Premium Bandai Japan and Maru P (マルピー商店), with an estimated release in July 2022.

King Piccolo, who first appeared as a villain in "Dragon Ball," is a green-skinned alien from Planet Namek. He is the embodiment of Kami's evil thoughts, sharing a body with Kami, and sought to conquer Earth. He was famously sealed away in a rice cooker by Master Mutaito, Master Roshi's teacher, using the Evil Containment Wave (Mafuba). Tambourine (タンバリン) is one of the subordinates King Piccolo spawned after wishing for eternal youth from Shenron. Tambourine's mission was to assist King Piccolo in collecting the Dragon Balls and eliminating martial artists. During the World Martial Arts Tournament, he notably killed Krillin and defeated Goku before ultimately being killed by Kid Goku's Kamehameha.

The "Dragon Ball Arise Tambourine" pre-painted figure stands approximately 25 cm tall. It faithfully captures Tambourine's humanoid yet demonic appearance, complete with his striking green skin. The figure meticulously recreates the reptilian scale-like texture on his skin, along with the detailed wings and sharp claws on his back. He is depicted wearing his martial arts pants, revealing his muscular upper body, and his grin is full of malice yet carries a hint of humor. The figure is available in two color versions: Normal Edition and Special Edition. "Dragon Ball" collectors won't want to miss this rare and iconic character!
