Bandai Candy, the confectionery toy division of Bandai, today unveiled a silhouette for the latest product in its "SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT" (SMP) model kit series. This new release, "GaoIcarus," hails from the classic "Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger" series, with its release date yet to be announced.
"GaoIcarus," the Sky Spirit King, made its debut in Episode 31 of the series. This formidable Spirit King was formed during a critical moment when the Gaorangers faced total annihilation against the enemy general Ura. The guardian spirit GaoFalcon awakened, performing a miracle to revive the team, and then combined with GaoRhino, GaoGiraffe, GaoDeer, and GaoArmadillo. GaoIcarus is renowned for its high-speed aerial flight capabilities and its ability to unleash powerful techniques such as the "Icarus Dynamite."
Currently, only a product silhouette has been released for the "SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT GaoIcarus." Further details will be announced at a later date.
