Japanese manufacturer Good Smile Company is launching a new line of SD (Super Deformed) vinyl robot figures called "V.S.O.F. (Vinyl Shogun Omega Force)"! Following the first release, Mazinger Z, the popular robot "V.S.O.F. Great Mazinger" is now making its debut as the second entry. It will retail for 7,700 JPY and is slated for release in May 2022.
This second entry in the Super Robot SD vinyl figure series, "V.S.O.F. Great Mazinger," stands approximately 240mm tall. Crafted from vinyl, it captures Great Mazinger's powerful stance, with a simple yet dense sculpt that faithfully recreates its iconic armor. The figure features metallic red, blue, and silver signature colors, giving it a substantial presence despite its cute proportions. It perfectly blends the cool factor of a super robot with an approachable charm. The third entry, "V.S.O.F. Grendizer," is also being released simultaneously, allowing fans to display them together!
