Japanese model maker Good Smile Company today announced the upcoming release of the "SSSS.Sofubi Kaiju Gagyura (First Form)" from the popular anime series "SSSS.DYNAZENON," slated for June 2022.
Gagyura serves as the final boss kaiju in the anime "SSSS.DYNAZENON." It originates from a kaiju seed nurtured within Shizumu, a member of the antagonist group known as the Kaiju Eugenicists. Possessing a colossal physique and superior offensive capabilities, Gagyura can unleash incredibly powerful and erratic beams from its mouth, chest, and back. Furthermore, it can utilize the vibratory organs on its back to send nearby matter flying.
The "SSSS.Sofubi Kaiju Gagyura (First Form)" boasts an impressive size, standing approximately 18 cm tall and measuring about 32.5 cm long. Crafted from soft vinyl and meticulously painted, the figure faithfully recreates its sharp white carapace, golden horns, and claws. Its robust physique and dynamically sculpted tail are incredibly striking, while the vibratory organs on its back are rendered with glitter-infused clear parts. This figure can be displayed alongside the separately sold "MODEROID DYNAZENON" to recreate iconic final battle scenes.
