From BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, the "S.H.Figuarts" articulated figure series, known for its exceptional sculpting and paintwork, recently unveiled its latest release: the S.H.Figuarts Doctor Strange, based on the MARVEL film "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness"! This highly anticipated figure is slated for an April 2022 release.
Set to hit the big screen in May of this year, "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" picks up after the events of "WandaVision," "Loki," and "Spider-Man: No Way Home," with the multiverse now officially open. Doctor Strange seeks the help of the Scarlet Witch to confront the impending threats. Adding to the excitement, America Chavez, a character known in the comics for her ability to traverse universes, will make her official debut in the film!
Standing approximately 16 cm tall, this figure meticulously recreates Doctor Strange in his brand-new costume from the movie. The head sculpt features finely detailed gray and dark brown short hair, with excellent facial contouring. The figure boasts a rich array of interchangeable hand parts (8 for the left, 7 for the right) and magic effect pieces, allowing for dynamic battle poses. The fabric Cloak of Levitation is sewn with an internal wire, enabling collectors to freely bend and shape it for added dramatic flair and posing versatility. Official images also highlight the impressive detail on the cloak's inner lining. Furthermore, the awesome snake-shaped magic effect seen in the trailer is also included!
