Following the release of their full-body "Gipsy Danger" statue based on the sci-fi monster film "Pacific Rim," Japanese high-end statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio announced a new product yesterday (the 10th). This time, the protagonist Jaeger, "Gipsy Danger" (ジプシー・デンジャー), will return as a non-scale bust! Both Standard and DX versions will be released simultaneously, with an estimated shipping window of May to August 2023.

Gipsy Danger is an American-made, third-generation Jaeger, utilizing a dual-pilot neural hand-off system. Powered by a nuclear turbine engine, it can cool its reactor using seawater. Its combat style emphasizes close-quarters combat, boasting a stable lower body and powerful output, making it a balanced Jaeger with both defense and speed. Gipsy Danger's primary weapons are the "Plasma Cannons" mounted on its hands, along with the "Chain Sword" added later in the story.

Although this piece is a bust featuring only the upper body, it stands an impressive 74 cm tall, making it even larger than the previously released full-body "Gipsy Danger" statue. It showcases the Jaeger's intricate details with overwhelming presence, allowing for meticulous appreciation of its exhaust vents, panel lines, hydraulic pistons, heavy-duty metal spine, and arm joint mechanisms. In addition to LED light-up functions for the chest's nuclear power core and head signal lights, the head can also be opened to reveal the two pilots inside: the Beckett brothers, Raleigh and Yancy.

The DX Version also includes two additional arm parts, which, when installed, allow the Gipsy Danger bust to display a super cool and tough "fist bump" combat-ready pose!
