Bandai Spirits' Tamashii Nations has dropped a surprise announcement today for its S.H.Figuarts line, revealing a new release from the film "Thor: Love and Thunder"! Joining the previously announced Jane Foster as The Mighty Thor, the God of Thunder himself, Thor, makes his debut in a brand-new battle suit.
While details on the Taika Waititi-directed film are still scarce, we know Natalie Portman's long-awaited return to the MCU confirms an adaptation of Marvel Comics' "The Mighty Thor" storyline. This new S.H.Figuarts version of Thor stands at approximately 16.5 cm tall and features an entirely new sculpt. The design showcases a black battle suit accented with striking blue and gold armor pieces. His hair returns to the long style reminiscent of his early appearances, creating a look that's both classic and refreshingly new.
The figure includes two head sculpts: a standard expression and one with his eyes crackling with power. To recreate his epic battle scenes, the set comes complete with Stormbreaker and translucent blue lightning effect parts. A vibrant red fabric cape with an internal wire allows for dynamic, wind-swept posing, perfectly capturing the mighty Thor in the heat of battle!
