The Japanese MECHA SMILE brand today announced the first product in its MODEROID plastic model kit series from the anime "Gravion": the "God Gravion," slated for release in November 2022.
In the series, God Gravion is a super robot secretly developed by the mysterious extraterrestrial billionaire Klein Sandman. It's formed by the combination of the humanoid robot Gran Kaiser and four fighter jets: the G Shadow, G Driller, G Striker, and G Attacker. Piloted by Toga Tenkuji and other members of the armed unit "Earth Gult" under Sandman's command, God Gravion is deployed to combat the mysterious enemy "Zeravire" as they approach Earth.
The "MODEROID God Gravion" kit utilizes multi-colored runners, pre-painted parts, and decals to faithfully recreate its on-screen appearance. Once assembled, collectors will have all five machines: Gran Kaiser, G Shadow, G Driller, G Striker, and G Attacker. Each machine boasts a sleek design in its individual form, and by swapping some parts, they can perform the "Gravion Change" to recreate the impressive five-machine combination into "God Gravion"!
The Gran Kaiser main body is fully articulated and features its own combination mechanism, allowing it to be posed dynamically with its Gran Magnum pistol. For the "Gravion Change," while the transforming Gran Kaiser can be used, the kit also includes a non-transforming Gran Kaiser. Utilizing this dedicated combined-mode version enhances playability and stability in its combined form, allowing for powerful battle poses with accessories like the Graviton Saber, two Graviton Rifles, and various interchangeable hand parts!
