Designed by the globally renowned concept artist Josh Nizzi, celebrated for his mechanical designs in countless film productions, this Unit-01 incorporates his signature strong mechanical structures, showcasing astonishing detail! The "Evangelion Unit-01 Night Battle Version" statue faithfully recreates the thrilling scene where Unit-01 wields its Progressive Knife in its right hand while dragging the bloodied, mangled Fourth Angel with its left. However, this version features a brand-new heavy metallic paint application, capturing the striking coloration of its nighttime operations from the series. The green sections utilize glow-in-the-dark paint, allowing Unit-01 to emit a mysterious luminescence in the dark, truly making the mechanical design stand out and showcasing a unique presence.
The statue includes two interchangeable head sculpts: a standard version with LED-lit yellow eyes, and a berserk mode roaring head with red eyes. The mouth, with its organic teeth and tongue, is incredibly impactful.
