Following the release of God Gravion, Japan's MECHA SMILE brand has officially announced the second installment in their 'MODEROID' plastic model kit series from the "Gravion" universe: the "Sol Σ Gravion," set to launch in January 2023.
Upon completion, the "MODEROID Sol Σ Gravion" kit delivers five distinct units: Gran Σ (the core unit), Geo Mirage, Geo Javelin, Geo Caliber, and Geo Stinger. Gran Σ, serving as the core, boasts full articulation and transformation capabilities. The four Sol units feature intricate detailing and can combine to form the large fighter jet, Geo Gradius. By swapping certain parts, collectors can seamlessly recreate the five-unit combination into "Sol Σ Gravion."
For enhanced playability, a non-transforming body part with increased stability is included for use during combination, boosting Sol Σ Gravion's poseability. The chest emblem is detachable to recreate the deployment of its signature weapon, the Gravion Sword. Additionally, effect parts are included to depict God Gravion wielding the Gravion Sword, allowing fans to recreate the epic "True Gravion Slash" finisher, where both machines unleash the Gravion Sword simultaneously!
Furthermore, the core unit, Gran Σ, can swap components and combine with the core of the separately sold God Gravion, Gran Kaiser. This allows for the recreation of two distinct forms: "God Σ Gravion" and "Sol Gravion."
Good Smile Company has also confirmed the commercialization of the third installment in the MODEROID "Gravion" series, featuring the "Ultimate Evil God-Merging"!
