BANPRESTO, the prize figure brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, announced its latest "Shaman King" figure yesterday (21st), featuring the Ainu boy from the northern lands, Horohoro (ホロホロ)!

Horohoro, the Ainu boy from Hokkaido, first appeared in episode 32. Initially, he mocked Yoh Asakura's "lame" name, then rapidly glided from a tall building to show off his Over Soul, displaying a proud and showy personality (though Anna quickly put him in his place). His Guardian Ghost is the Earth Spirit, Kororo (コロロ). Horohoro is skilled in ice-based techniques, such as the wide-range attacks "Blizzard Lance" and "Avalanche," and the single-point piercing "Icicle Sword." His dream is to become Shaman King and cultivate a vast, endless field of butterbur plants.

This figure recreates Horohoro's signature debut appearance, based on the new "Shaman King" anime's design. His red, blue, and white top, along with his black and blue headband and shorts, faithfully reproduce their iconic patterns. His hands-in-pockets pose, paired with a relaxed smile on his face, fully conveys Horohoro's immense confidence in his own abilities! Additionally, his distinctive blue spiky hair features excellent gradient coloring. It's a bit of a shame, however, that his snowboard isn't included. But considering the release pattern for Yoh Asakura's figures, it's likely the next Horohoro release will come with his snowboard (wink).
