Megahouse, the Japanese toy company, has unveiled its latest addition to the "Gundam Guys Generation (GGG)" series, which brings high-quality three-dimensional figures of male characters from the "Mobile Suit Gundam" franchise to life. The newest release, hailing from "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam," is the "GGG Paptimus Scirocco" 1/8 scale PVC painted finished product. It will retail for 18,480 Yen and is scheduled for release in late November 2022.
Originally the captain of a Jupiter resource mining vessel for the Earth Federation and commander of the Jupiter Helium-3 exploration fleet, Paptimus Scirocco joined the Titans upon returning to Earth to combat the AEUG. An extremely arrogant, self-centered, and ambitious individual, he manipulated and led those around him (especially women) with his exceptional command abilities, sharp intellect, and overwhelming charisma. During the latter stages of the Gryps Conflict, Scirocco seized the opportunity to assassinate Titans supreme commander Jamitov Hyman, framing Axis leader Haman Karn, and then usurped control of the Titans under the guise of revenge.
The "GGG Paptimus Scirocco" 1/8 scale PVC painted finished product stands 22 cm tall, faithfully recreating his impressive white uniform and confident, arms-crossed pose. The intricate wrinkles formed by his posture are meticulously sculpted and enhanced with shadow paintwork. Gold trim on his uniform and details like the belt are rendered with metallic finishes, imbuing the otherwise simple design with a noble and sophisticated feel. He sports a fearless, charming smile, and with interchangeable hand parts, you can also display him gently brushing his bangs! Unfortunately, the "Z Gundam watermelon ice face" that was mentioned when the prototype was previously revealed is not included in this release.
