British toy brand First 4 Figures, known for its impressive video game character statues, is set to release a PVC figure of the Zora Champion Mipha in Q4 2022. This follows their previous releases from Nintendo's hugely popular game "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild", which include Link, Princess Zelda, and the Rito Champion Revali.
The acclaim and achievements of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" are well-known to fans; its "Game of the Year" title in 2017 was certainly well-deserved. By 2021, global sales had exceeded 26 million units, and the highly anticipated sequel is slated for a Spring 2023 release on the Nintendo Switch.
Mipha is one of the four Champions in the game and the beloved princess of the Zora. Wielding the Lightscale Trident, Mipha also possesses powerful healing abilities. A century prior to the game's events, she was tragically slain by Waterblight Ganon, a creation of Calamity Ganon, and her spirit became trapped within her Divine Beast. Mipha knew Link since childhood and harbored deep affection for him, silently protecting the Hero of Hyrule with her healing powers despite the constraints of her royal status.
This First 4 Figures PVC statue of Mipha stands approximately 9 inches tall (reflecting her shorter stature in the game). It faithfully recreates her pose and attire from the game's promotional artwork. Mipha is depicted holding her Lightscale Trident, her gentle expression beautifully captured, and intricate details like her blue garments and accessories are meticulously rendered. The statue is available in three versions: Standard, Collector's, and Exclusive. Both the Collector's and Exclusive editions feature a light-up base, while the Exclusive edition also comes in premium collector's packaging and includes a special art card. This is a must-see for "The Legend of Zelda" fans.
