Following the initial releases of protagonists Yuji Itadori, Sukuna, and Satoru Gojo, TAMASHII NATIONS, Bandai Spirits' collector's toy division, is set to launch the latest addition to its Figuarts ZERO non-articulated statue line: the highly anticipated "Figuarts ZERO Megumi Fushiguro"! This new release, based on the popular anime and manga series "Jujutsu Kaisen," will retail for 10,780 JPY and is slated for an October 2022 release.
Megumi Fushiguro (ふしぐろ めぐみ), a fan-favorite character from Gege Akutami's hit manga series "Jujutsu Kaisen," is known for his calm and cautious demeanor. He is a first-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High, alongside the hot-blooded Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki, all under the guidance of the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer, Satoru Gojo. Possessing the esteemed Zenin family bloodline and immense talent, Megumi became a Grade 2 Jujutsu Sorcerer in his first year. As a Shadow Technique user, he can summon ten different Shikigami by forming hand signs that mimic animal shapes, a technique known as the "Ten Shadows Technique."
The "Figuarts ZERO Megumi Fushiguro" stands approximately 21 cm tall, capturing Megumi in a magnificent battle pose as he unleashes his Domain Expansion, "Chimera Shadow Garden." The figure meticulously recreates his iconic ten-fingered hand sign (affectionately dubbed "Fushiguro's New Year's Greeting" by fans) and a dynamic crouched stance, poised for action. Behind him, the formidable Shikigami "Nue" and "Gama" emerge, lending an overwhelming sense of power and presence to the display. The intricate sculpting faithfully reproduces every detail, creating an incredibly impactful scene. As an added bonus, the figure also includes an interchangeable 'berserk' face part, perfectly capturing his unforgettable, intensely crazed smile!
