Megahouse's "LOOKUP" (るかっぷ) series of chibi character figures will release new additions based on the popular anime "Haikyuu!!", featuring "LOOKUP Shoyo Hinata / Tobio Kageyama"! The suggested retail price is 3,799 JPY each, with a limited set priced at 7,150 JPY. Pre-orders will open on January 8, 2021, and the figures are scheduled for release in late December 2021.
The manga series "Haikyuu!!" (ハイキュー!!), created by Japanese manga artist Haruichi Furudate, unfolds a volleyball story centered on the premise of "an amazing setter perfectly matching the spiker's toss." It depicts Shoyo Hinata, a boy who loves volleyball, who was utterly defeated by "The King of the Court," Tobio Kageyama, in his first official volleyball match during junior high. Determined to get revenge, Hinata enrolled in Karasuno High School and joined the volleyball club, only to find his rival, Kageyama, becoming his teammate... While competing with each other, they also strive towards their goals together!
The "LOOKUP Shoyo Hinata / Tobio Kageyama" figures feature meticulously crafted 11 cm chibi characters in an upward-gazing sitting pose. Their heads have articulated joints that allow for angle adjustment, and coupled with their adorable big, expressive eyes, placing them on your desk, their "LOOKUP" gaze is incredibly heartwarming and irresistibly cute! The figures faithfully recreate both characters' uniform designs, capturing Hinata's signature sunny smile and Kageyama's standard cool, expressionless face. Make sure to collect them both!
