After releasing popular products based on the hit anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" featuring protagonists like "Yuji Itadori" and "Satoru Gojo," Japanese toy company MEGAHOUSE (メガハウス) is set to release its latest product, the "Kento Nanami" 1/8 scale pre-painted figure, in January 2023! The suggested retail price is 17,490 JPY, and pre-orders are now open.
Kento Nanami, a popular character from Gege Akutami's manga series "Jujutsu Kaisen," is affectionately known as "Nanamin (ななみ)." He is a junior to the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer, Satoru Gojo. After graduating from Tokyo Jujutsu High School, he worked for a regular company, realized that "work is crap," grew tired of the corporate slave lifestyle, resigned, and returned to the Jujutsu world to become a freelance Jujutsu Sorcerer.
The "Kento Nanami" 1/8 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 22 cm tall, faithfully recreating Nanami's appearance from the anime. He wears his signature goggles and a beige suit, with one hand pulling open his yellow polka-dot tie made from a cursed talisman, and the other holding a short machete wrapped in a cursed talisman. His forward-striding pose causes his jacket to flare up, with exquisitely sculpted details like flowing wrinkles. The figure is painted with emphasized shading, creating an overall sense of mature sophistication. Additionally, it comes with an interchangeable bare-faced head sculpt, displaying an expression of disdain for overtime, exuding an aura that his binding vow is about to be unleashed!
