Following the release of the "IT PENNYWISE COLLECTION," TAKARA TOMY's toy brand T-ARTS will launch its sequel, the "IT PENNYWISE COLLECTION CHAPTER 2" (tentative translation, IT PENNYWISE COLLECTION CHAPTER 2) gashapon, this August!
Both "IT (2017)" and "IT Chapter Two" are adaptations of Stephen King's novel of the same name. The story takes place in the eerie town of Derry, describing the adventures of the Losers' Club teenagers who are targeted by "IT" and must confront their deepest fears. IT is a shapeshifting entity that relishes the taste of fear, often transforming into the embodiment of people's inner terrors. Because children are more easily frightened and emit a delicious scent of fear, IT frequently appears in the guise of a clown... In "IT Chapter Two," Pennywise reappears in Derry after a 27-year dormancy, and the members of the Losers' Club return to fulfill the vow they made in childhood.
This gashapon series, based on "IT Chapter Two," also features four designs: the three-dimensional figure "Pennywise" holding a red balloon, the giant spider-like "True Form," the "Evil Face" bust with its long tongue extended, and the weakened "IT the END" form after being verbally attacked and losing power by the Losers' Club. The True Form measures an impressive 12 cm in length, recalling the climactic final battle from the film! "IT the END," a rare depiction of Pennywise in a weakened state, will undoubtedly allow for many playful and ironic scenes when paired with other figures.
