Released in 1998, Metal Slug 2 (colloquially known as Metal Slug 2 in Taiwan) is proudly approaching its 25th anniversary! With its unique and charming art style and easy-to-learn gameplay, it once swept across Taiwan's streets and alleys.
In that era, you might have played various arcade games at convenience store entrances, in small rooms within "traditional candy stores," or even at the entrance of a Dàizǎimiàn noodle shop down the alley. "Metal Slug 2" was certainly among them! It captivated friends born in the 60s and 70s (referring to the Republic of China calendar, roughly 1971-1990). They would insert coin after coin, continuing through levels, just to hear that iconic phrase: "Heavy Machine Gun!"
On the eve of Metal Slug 2's 25th anniversary, Zaofeng Craft specially obtained SNK's authorization to launch the physical "Metal Slug 2 Tank-Shaped iPASS." Not only is the entire unit made in Taiwan, but it also utilizes advanced 3D printing technology to faithfully recreate the game's most iconic SV-001 tank. Equipped with iPASS functionality, whether for MRT, bus, or convenience store payments, we can carry this mini tank of memories with us as we bravely move forward!
