Japanese figure manufacturer MEGAHOUSE has announced that the latest product from its monster-themed figure series "ART WORKS MONSTERS", the "Black Rose Dragon" from "Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's", is scheduled for release in September 2023.
The "Black Rose Dragon", the beloved ace monster of Akiza Izinski, the protagonist of the anime "Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's", is a Level 7 monster with powerful field-clearing effects and the ability to break through opposing defense monsters. Its indiscriminate field wipe upon summoning is particularly formidable. It is a destructive symbol of Akiza Izinski during her time as the "Black Rose Witch".
The "ART WORKS MONSTERS Black Rose Dragon" is sculpted by renowned prototype artist Kenji Ando, creating an elegant pose, standing 28 cm tall with its twin wings spread like rose petals! The dragon's head and body surface are intricately sculpted with complex patterns, conveying a sense of organic life. The scales on its neck and wings are arranged like armor. The petals and wings are finished with a textured metallic paint, and the delicate rose details are expressed to perfection! Intricate vines extend with the movement of its spreading wings, and the "Black Garden" base sculpture enhances the atmosphere of the series while also conveying a dynamic sense of motion.
