The railway model toy "PLARAIL" series, launched by Japan's TAKARATOMY company, following the "Unit-01", has once again announced the latest collaborative product between "Shinkalion" and "Evangelion", the "SHINKALION Z 500 TYPE EVA-02", scheduled for release in December 2022!
The fourth collaborative product between "Shinkalion Z" and "Evangelion", the "SHINKALION Z 500 TYPE EVA-02", is based on the concept of "What if Unit-02 appeared in the show?", creating an original Shinkalion design that incorporates Unit-02's aesthetics. Continuing the concept of the previous Unit-01, it features the 500 TYPE EVA-02 and an illustration of its pilot, "Asuka".
It also adopts a 3-car formation, capable of transforming from a three-car Shinkansen mode into a robot mode. In addition to the EVA Unit-02 themed head, it also includes interchangeable Shinkalion-style head parts. Furthermore, its weapons include a "High-Vibration Particle Blade", a "Positron Rifle", and a "2424-style Rifle". The rifle also incorporates a ticket gate punch design, making it truly unique!
