To commemorate the broadcast of "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury," 7-ELEVEN Japan has announced a collaboration event with the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series. Starting November 1, 2022, a series of original Gundam merchandise will be launched, including the highly popular Gunpla model kit, "ENTRY GRADE 1/144 ν Gundam (7-11 Limited Color)," scheduled for release on November 11, 2022.
The "ENTRY GRADE 1/144 ν Gundam (7-11 Limited Color)" is based on the previously released standard kit, an entry-level model kit comprising approximately 100 parts. The gate runners are specially designed, allowing parts to be easily detached by hand without the need for nippers, making it an incredibly user-friendly design for both children and beginners.
It features precise part separation, with even the eyes being independently molded, allowing for the reproduction of most of the mobile suit's colors through simple assembly, without the need for painting. The overall design continues the refined style of the HGUC version, with the exterior armor free of excessive panel lines, purely presenting the ν Gundam's formidable appearance. Furthermore, the articulation technology has evolved beyond that of HGUC kits from years past, enabling impressive combat poses from the series and allowing for dynamic play with weapons such as the beam rifle, shield, and beam saber hilt.
This limited edition replaces all molding colors with a vibrant combination of 7-ELEVEN's iconic red, orange, white, and green, creating a distinct color scheme different from the original. The product also features an outer box design prominently displaying the 7-ELEVEN logo, along with water-slide decals featuring 7-ELEVEN logos and other patterns, making it an even more commemorative item with abundant 7-ELEVEN elements.
