Japanese model manufacturer MEGAHOUSE today officially announced the latest product from their new mid-to-low price range small-scale monster figure series, 'MONSTERS CHRONICLE,' featuring the 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' from 'Yu-Gi-Oh!', with an expected release in June 2023.
The 'MONSTERS CHRONICLE' series is a brand new line of completed monster figures priced under 10,000 Japanese Yen. The scale is significantly smaller compared to the higher-end 'ART WORKS MONSTERS' series, with each product standing approximately 15 cm or less in height. They also feature powerful poses and bases designed to showcase the monster's charm, making them relatively suitable for collectors with limited display space or lower budgets. However, the overall richness of detail and sharpness are noticeably inferior to the ART WORKS MONSTERS series.
The 'MONSTERS CHRONICLE Blue-Eyes White Dragon' stands approximately 12 cm tall. It captures the powerful pose of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon in flight, utilizing an airflow-like blue effect base. The sculpt faithfully depicts details such as its fierce head, diamond-shaped carapace, and wing membrane wrinkles, all in the original style, and is painted to represent its silvery-white body. The series will also release more monsters from the 'Yu-Gi-Oh!' series in the future, serving as a three-dimensional encyclopedia for collectors.
