Japan's Kotobukiya toy company's three-dimensional figure series "ARTFX" announced today (10th) a new product from DC Comics, the 1/6 scale "Batman The Bronze Age" (バットマン ザ・ブロンズエイジ) PVC pre-painted complete figure! Scheduled for release in May 2023.
This figure stands approximately 30.5 cm tall and utilizes the latest technology to create "Batman" from "The Bronze Age," one of the classic eras of American comics. The overall design is based on the moment he is suiting up before heading out to fight crime. In addition to recreating the Batsuit with the gray-blue color scheme of the 70s and 80s, the sculpting of the lines, the three-dimensionality of the muscles, and the wrinkles of the bodysuit are all outstanding! The action of pulling on the glove is also incredibly realistic, as if you can almost hear the leather stretching; furthermore, although not shown in the official images, it is clearly stated on Kotobukiya's official website and in the official descriptions that a metal base shaped like the Batman LOGO will be included, connecting to the Batman figure via magnet.
