Japan's Prime 1 Studio's popular statue series "Ultimate Premium Masterline" has announced its latest product from the popular anime "Chainsaw Man": the "Chainsaw Man / Denji 1/4 Scale Statue". It will be available in a Regular Edition and a Deluxe Edition, with an estimated release from March to June 2024!
"Chainsaw Man", a dark shonen manga created by Japanese manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto, tells the story of Denji, an extremely impoverished protagonist in a world overrun by "devils". To repay his deceased father's massive debt, he becomes a Devil Hunter, earning money by slaying devils, and partners with the Chainsaw Devil "Pochita" to hunt them. In an accident, Pochita sacrifices himself, merging with Denji's heart through a contract, resurrecting Denji and granting him the ability to transform into the Chainsaw Devil. He is subsequently noticed by the government's "Public Safety Devil Hunters Special Division".
The "Ultimate Premium Masterline Chainsaw Man / Denji 1/4 Scale Statue" brings to life the iconic scene where Denji is reborn as Chainsaw Man after receiving Pochita's heart! A chainsaw pull cord emerges from his chest, while sharp chainsaw blades extend from his limbs and head. Beneath his feet lie the dismembered corpses of devils! Though his expression is unseen, the vibrant red blood covering his entire body conveys Chainsaw Man's ferocity and rage. The thick, viscous blood texture is meticulously sculpted, and the built-in LED light effect in his eyes injects life into the entire piece.
The base is composed of chainsaw gears, machinery, and blood-soaked corpses, with the devils' agonizing expressions meticulously sculpted. Details such as Denji's blood-stained clothes and sneakers are also not to be overlooked. The Deluxe DX Version includes an additional Chainsaw Man head sculpt with a protruding tongue, two Denji head sculpts, and interchangeable arm parts.
