Japanese high-quality statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio's plush doll-style Q-version series 'Cutie1' will launch its first product, "Cutie1 Chainsaw Man", based on the popular anime "Chainsaw Man". The suggested retail price is 6,050 JPY, with an estimated release in January 2023.
Created by Japanese manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto, the dark shonen manga "Chainsaw Man" tells the story of a world overrun by 'Devils'. The extremely impoverished protagonist, Denji, becomes a Devil Hunter to repay his deceased father's massive debt, earning money by slaying Devils and collaborating with the Chainsaw Devil, 'Pochita'. In an accident, Pochita sacrifices himself, merging with Denji's heart through a contract, resurrecting Denji and granting him the ability to transform into a Chainsaw Devil. Consequently, he is noticed by the government's 'Public Safety Devil Hunters Special Division'.
The 'Cutie1' series, known for its cuteness and collectibility, reinterprets various IPs in a plush toy style, transforming seemingly soft, adorable characters into PVC collectibles. The "Cutie1 Chainsaw Man" stands approximately 12 cm tall. In its Q-version proportion, it features a plush doll design, with familiar zippers cleverly applied to the chainsaw blades, creating a seamless look!
