Megahouse, a Japanese toy company, is re-releasing its highly popular "Precious G.E.M. Omegamon" from its high-quality "Precious G.E.M." figure line, this time with a new paint application based on "Digimon Adventure: Our War Game!" Introducing the "Precious G.E.M. Omegamon 2023ver." PVC painted finished product, with a suggested retail price of 29,700 JPY, scheduled for release in August 2023!
The theatrical film "Digimon Adventure: Our War Game!" (劇場版デジモンアドベンチャー ぼくらのウォーゲーム!) was produced by Toei and released in Japan in 2000, directed by Mamoru Hosoda. The story follows Taichi Yagami, Koushiro Izumi, and the other DigiDestined children six months after returning to the real world, when they are suddenly disrupted by a mysterious new Digimon. This Digimon consumes vast amounts of data via the internet, rapidly evolving into Diaboromon, and initiating an endless "viral split" that plunges both the virtual and real worlds into extreme danger.
The "Precious G.E.M. Digimon Adventure: Our War Game! Omegamon 2023ver." re-releases this impressive, largest-in-series product with a brand-new paint application, once again fully supervised by designer Kenji Watanabe. Omegamon's cool pose, with the Grey Sword raised to the sky, stands at an imposing 60 cm tall! The original blue transparent effect parts at its feet have been replaced with metallic gradient effects radiating a golden glow, accompanied by a specially designed base. The flowing cape, Garuru Cannon, and body armor are all treated with light and shadow effects, illuminated by golden light, making them appear even more three-dimensional and magnificent!
