Japanese model manufacturer MEGAHOUSE's new series of mid-to-low-priced small-scale monster figures, 'MONSTERS CHRONICLE', following its first wave featuring Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Red-Eyes Black Dragon, and Insect Queen, recently showcased the unpainted prototypes of its latest products: 'Mystical Elf', 'Flame Swordsman', and 'Jinzo'. The release date is yet to be determined.
The 'MONSTERS CHRONICLE' series is a brand new line of completed monster figures priced under 10,000 Japanese Yen. The scale is significantly smaller compared to the high-end 'ART WORKS MONSTERS' series, with each product standing approximately within 15 cm in height. They also feature dynamic poses and bases designed to highlight the monsters' appeal, making them relatively suitable for collectors with limited display space or a lower budget. However, the overall richness of detail and sharpness are noticeably inferior to the ART WORKS MONSTERS series.
