Released by Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY, the popular "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over 1000 different products, will be releasing "Nendoroid Takopi" based on the dark popular manga "Takopi's Original Sin"! The suggested retail price is 6,500 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in August 2023.

The manga "Takopi's Original Sin," created by new-generation Japanese manga artist Taizan5, has been described by Japanese critics as a "nightmare version of Doraemon." "Takopi," named for its Q-version octopus-like appearance, is an alien creature from the Happy Planet who came to Earth to spread happiness throughout the universe. After arriving on Earth, it encounters Shizuka Kuze, an elementary school student who is being bullied, and hopes to solve Shizuka's problems and bring back her smile using "happy tools"! However, due to "goodness not understanding evil," and without comprehending human thoughts and real-life situations, each use of these tools only exacerbates the problems... gradually turning into an unsettling and unpredictable horror story.

The "Nendoroid Takopi" transforms the simply designed Takopi into a Nendoroid figure, measuring a palm-sized 7 cm. Magnets are embedded within its round body, allowing for various poses with interchangeable magnetic hands! It comes with three interchangeable face plates: a (·3·) "Normal Face," a "Smiling Face" with squinted eyes, and a "Crying Face" for when things go wrong. Accessories include "Happy Camera," "Reconciliation Ribbon," "Memory Box," and a "I Don't Know Beep dialogue plate," all tools from the Happy Planet. This time, will it be able to use these tools properly?
