To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the popular RPG "Atelier series" launched by Gust, a brand under Japan's Koei Tecmo, amiami's latest product, the "Ryza Atelier Series 25th Anniversary ver. 1/7 Scale Figure", which had its commercialization announced last summer, recently had its latest prototype under supervision revealed by character designer toridamono. The release date is yet to be determined.
This figure of the highly popular protagonist from "Atelier Ryza", Reisalin Stout, is based on the 25th-anniversary commemorative illustration drawn by toridamono-sensei with the concept of "Ryza inviting you into the world of Atelier", from the "Atelier 25th Anniversary POP UP SHOP in amiami" event held by Koei Tecmo and amiami in 2022.
The current prototype under supervision for the "Ryza Atelier Series 25th Anniversary ver. 1/7 Scale Figure" only reveals Ryza herself without a background. It adopts the 17-year-old Ryza design from the first game, meticulously reproducing the costume details, various potion bottles and other accessories, as well as her characteristic plump, fleshy thighs, all while showcasing a cute winking smile. Different from the original illustration, her right hand is posed reaching upwards, further emphasizing Ryza's lively personality. The base, like in the illustration, features the traditional "barrel" from the Atelier series, which makes cute sounds when investigated, and recreates the "THANK YOU!" Puni pattern on it.
