Hong Kong's renowned toy manufacturer Hot Toys recently announced its latest product from "The Avengers": the "Iron Man Mark VI (2.0) with Suit-Up Gantry" 1/6 scale collectible set! It is expected to ship in Q1-Q2 2024.
The "Iron Man Mark VI (2.0)," crafted from diecast material, stands approximately 32 cm tall, perfectly recreating the unique inverted triangle arc reactor on the chest, the iconic red and gold armor, and LED light-up functions in the eyes, chest, and palms. Key highlights include battle-damaged mask & chest armor parts, and an unmasked Tony Stark head sculpt featuring rolling eyeballs. Collectors can also utilize the detachable chest armor, deployable back air flaps, opening leg armor, forearm-attachable missile parts, shoulder-mounted missile parts, red laser effect accessories, and more to pose the Mark VI in various cool combat stances and admire its intricate internal mechanisms.
Next is the other highlight of the set – the Suit-Up Gantry! This gantry, featuring a circular structure and equipped with five mechanical arms, stands approximately 42 cm tall and is 33 cm long. In addition to the movable and extendable mechanical arms, the claw components have built-in magnets, allowing for a more natural retrieval of the Mark VI helmet part (exclusive to the set). Lighting up the LED light-up features located on the circular base and steps directly enhances the sense of realism! It perfectly recreates Tony's classic scene of disarming his suit on the Stark Tower rooftop.
▼ The following are the mechanical skeleton parts exclusive to the collectible set, including the aforementioned helmet, as well as the chest armor, back armor, shoulder armor, outer thigh armor, and front thigh armor.
▼ In addition to the collectible set which includes both the Iron Man figure & gantry, Hot Toys has also simultaneously released individual versions of the figure and the gantry. However, these do not come with the exclusive accessories from the collectible set, which is an important point to note.
