To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the popular RPG "Atelier series" developed by Gust, a brand under Japan's Koei Tecmo, Japan's largest figure and toy specialty shopping website amiami today officially announced the latest product, "Ryza 'Atelier' Series 25th Anniversary ver. 1/7 Scale Figure," slated for release in February 2024. This product will be simultaneously released in both Standard and DX editions.
The design for this release originates from the 25th-anniversary illustration drawn by illustrator toridamono-sensei, who was again invited by Koei Tecmo and amiami for the "Atelier 25th Anniversary POP UP SHOP in amiami" event held in 2022. With the concept of "Ryza invites you into the world of Atelier," the illustration centers on Ryza's design from the first game of her trilogy, incorporating elements such as the "barrel" that runs through the series and key items from past installments in the background, chronicling the 25-year journey of the "Atelier" series.
The "Ryza 'Atelier' Series 25th Anniversary ver. 1/7 Scale Figure" meticulously recreates the intricate details of Ryza's outfit, various potion bottles and accessories, and her characteristic plump thighs, all while showcasing her adorable winking smile. Differing from the original illustration, Ryza's right hand is posed reaching upwards, further emphasizing her lively personality. The base, like the illustration, features the traditional "barrel" from the Atelier series, known for its cute voice lines when investigated, and faithfully reproduces the gift ribbon and "THANK YOU!" Puni pattern on it.
The DX Edition, furthermore, recreates the luxurious background from the illustration, incorporating key items from past "Atelier" titles, such as Rorona's specialty "Pie," Plachta's true form "Ancient Book," the egg that hatched the mysterious fairy "Fee," and doors and windows leading to various worlds of the series, fully reproducing toridamono's 25th-anniversary illustration!
