Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys yesterday (27th) announced its latest product from MARVEL, celebrating Disney's grand 100th anniversary: the "Iron Man Mark VII D100 Version" 1/6th scale collectible figure! This exclusive item will be limited to 1500 units for sale in specific markets, with an estimated shipping date between Q4 2023 and Q1 2024.
The chosen Iron Man suit is the "Mark VII," which first appeared in The Avengers and holds a classic status in the hearts of many collectors. Its overall color scheme has been updated to a primary tone of red and platinum, crafted from alloy materials to a height of 32.5 cm. The metallic painted armor exudes a strong sense of weight and realism. In addition to meticulously restoring the armor's shape and surface details, it also includes interchangeable parts for the shoulder, thigh, and forearm weapon-launching armor. Coupled with LED light-up functions in the eyes, palms, and arc reactor on the chest, it becomes even more imposing when illuminated.
Beyond the new color scheme for Iron Man, another highlight of this piece is the theatrical display base designed with "The Avengers" theme. Not only can you see silhouettes of many superheroes on the three-dimensional 'A' sculpture, but the MARVEL nameplate on the base also features rich patterns representing the heroes. Overall, it's quite elaborate.
