Japanese model manufacturer Megahouse has officially announced today the latest product from the 'GGG (Gundam Girls Generation)' character figure series, which exquisitely sculpts female characters from the 'Mobile Suit Gundam' series. This new item, 'Lunamaria Hawke Swimsuit Ver.' from 'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY', is scheduled for release in September 2023.
Lunamaria Hawke is a 'Red Coat' elite pilot of the Z.A.F.T. military, serving as an MS pilot alongside her peers Shinn Asuka and Rey Za Burrel on the cutting-edge battleship 'Minerva'. Lunamaria initially piloted a Zaku Warrior, and later took over as the pilot of the Impulse Gundam after Shinn transferred to the Destiny Gundam. In many respects, she is truly a protagonist-level character. Furthermore, her adorable actions, such as privately modifying her military uniform into a mini-skirt, earned Lunamaria considerable popularity during the broadcast.
The 'GGG Lunamaria Hawke Swimsuit Ver.' features an original full swimsuit design, sculpted at approximately 1/8 scale with a total height of about 19 cm. The sculpt faithfully reproduces her distinctive red hair with a single ahoge, her voluptuous figure, and the original bikini swimsuit. Her outfit, including the jacket and denim shorts, is removable. Beach sandals are also included, which can be placed alongside the figure, allowing for the recreation of her adorable pose as if she has casually taken off her outerwear and can't wait to get into the water.
