Japan's Prime 1 Studio's Q-version brand "Cutie1 (キューティ１)", which reinterprets various IP characters in plush toy style, after releasing numerous popular "Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition" themed products, is now significantly increasing the size with the grand debut of the "Cutie1 XL EVA Unit-01"! Two color variations will be released simultaneously, with shipping expected to begin from July to October 2024.
This "Cutie1 XL EVA Unit-01", rendered in three dimensions with an overwhelming presence, is crafted from FRP material. Including the base, it stands at an impressive 83 cm tall. The overall proportions, featuring an endearing two-head-tall chibi style, are essentially the same as the earlier 12 cm figures. It faithfully recreates the classic purple and green color scheme with yellow and red accents on the eyes and chest. Cutie1's signature button eyes, zippers, and stitching are meticulously crafted, and the black base features a prominent white Cutie1 logo. Additionally, this large-scale EVA Unit-01 will also be released simultaneously in a limited edition color scheme that closely resembles its night combat specifications. However, both versions are precious collectibles, each limited to just 50 units worldwide!
