Elegant Lightsabers Accompany You to Battle! Seagate Launches New Star Wars Lightsaber Collection SSD

The new collector's edition FireCuda PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD heatsink features three interchangeable faceplates, inspired by three iconic lightsabers.

Starting today, Star Wars fans can choose their allegiance to the Force with Seagate®'s new collector's edition Solid State Drives (SSDs). The drives are inspired by iconic characters from the Star Wars universe, featuring interchangeable faceplates that pay homage to Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader, and Luke Skywalker. The new Star Wars Lightsaber Collection SSDs join Seagate's lineup of licensed special edition storage devices, bringing PCIe Gen4 speeds, peak performance, and customizable features to the battlegrounds of Star Wars collectors and tech enthusiasts.

Inspired by both Jedi and Sith, this new collector's edition FireCuda™ NVMe SSD is officially licensed by Lucasfilm and features three iconic LightsaberTM designs on its interchangeable faceplates, each representing a classic Star Wars character, allowing gamers to choose their desired design at any time. Customizable RGB LED lighting1 makes the drive shine, bringing a galactic ambiance to the player's battlefield. A unique loading mechanism, designed and developed by EKWB, connects the interchangeable faceplates to the SSD and heatsink. The integrated passive heatsink minimizes thermal throttling and extends peak performance duration.

This drive offers capacities up to 2TB and sequential read speeds of up to 7,300 MB/s, allowing gamers to harness the power of PCIe Gen4 and dominate next-generation games and applications. With an ultra-high endurance of up to 2,550 TBW, this collector's edition drive comes with Seagate's five-year limited warranty and three years of Rescue Data Recovery Services™ (data recovery services), ensuring players can game without worries, whether they choose the light or dark side of the Force.

The Star Wars Lightsaber Collection FireCuda PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD will be available in Taiwan on April 10th, with a suggested retail price of NT$7,888 (2TB).
