The popular manga "Berserk" will release its highly anticipated 42nd volume on September 29, 2023. A special "Berserk Figure Set Special Edition" will be sold in Japan, which, in addition to the manga, includes the "Guts (Berserker Armor) Bust Figure" produced by Japanese figure manufacturer MaxFactory. The suggested retail price is 7,990 JPY. (※The overseas version sold only the figure, with a suggested retail price of 7,300 JPY)
In "Berserk", when protagonist Guts battles the "Flame Dragon" Grunbeld, he dons the cursed armor "Berserker Armor" forged by the Dwarves (ドワーフ). This armor intensely amplifies the dormant hatred and resentment deep within him. The surging, exhilarating rage numbs his pain, replaced by a ferocious, powerful impulse, allowing Guts to fight wildly with strength that surpasses human limits! He easily sends the Flame Dragon flying and shatters shields that even cannonballs couldn't penetrate.
▼After the passing of original author Kentaro Miura, his team of apprentices, "STUDIO Gaga," continued the artwork, with close friend Kouji Mori supervising the story, restarting the "Berserk" serialization.
The "Guts (Berserker Armor) Bust Figure" is supervised by "STUDIO Gaga" and stands approximately 10 cm tall. It thoroughly recreates Guts' bust wearing the Berserker Armor, with his massive sword resting on his shoulder, showcasing a powerful and imposing sculpt. The forbidden armor is covered in sharp lines, and the tattered cape behind him is also intricately detailed. Transparent parts are used at the ends of the greatsword and cape to reproduce the "aura" effect emanating from Guts, enhancing his terrifying and fearsome presence!
