Japanese toy manufacturer BUSHIROAD CREATIVE's new brand PalVerse, and its derivative brand PalVerse Pale, are set to release their first product in August 2023: PVC figures based on the popular anime My Hero Academia (僕のヒーローアカデミア)! There will be four different styles, each priced at 2,750 JPY.
Japanese toy manufacturer BUSHIROAD CREATIVE, which owns gashapon toy brands such as TAMAKYU, recently launched its new brand PalVerse, along with its derivative brand PalVerse Pale., characterized by more animated poses. The brand's first product line features the popular manga My Hero Academia.
My Hero Academia (often abbreviated as "MHA") began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2014, with its latest sixth season of the anime concluding its broadcast in March 2023. It tells the story of protagonist Izuku Midoriya, who, despite being born without a "Quirk," dreams of becoming a hero like the famous All Might. By chance, he learns All Might's true identity and inherits his Quirk, "One For All." After enrolling in U.A. High School, he meets many new people. One of the original work's characteristics is its exaggerated, American comic-style combat portrayal.
This PalVerse Pale. figure series features four characters across four styles: protagonist Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Ochaco Uraraka, and Shoto Todoroki. Each character stands approximately 115mm-120mm tall. In addition to being slightly taller than typical blind box figures, they also incorporate a stronger sense of animated posing.
