Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY's popular toy series "ZOIDS," following the Blade Liger and Liger Zero, has once again announced the third product in its 40th Anniversary Project, "ZOIDS 40TH ANNIVERSARY PROJECT," a culmination of technology: the prototype under development for the "Murasame Liger," with a release date yet to be determined.
The "ZOIDS 40TH ANNIVERSARY PROJECT," a commemorative project for the 40th anniversary of the highly popular mechanical beast model series "ZOIDS," brings together popular Liger-type Zoids from throughout its history. These 1/72 scale model products are re-released with TAKARA TOMY's latest technology, featuring built-in motor power units. Some parts are pre-painted, offering not only cool armor designs but also recreating various weapon deployment mechanisms through motor power, with LED light-up features embedded in the eyes and core.
Currently visible in the prototype, TAKARA TOMY has similarly utilized its latest technology to faithfully reproduce the Murasame Liger's rich Japanese samurai elements, intricately designed internal movable frame, and weaponry. The giant blade "Murasame" on its back also recreates the inscriptions on the blade.
