American toy brand FUNKO recently announced several new products from the "Indiana Jones" series. This article will bring you the product information for the "Pop! Moment" series, featuring the "Indiana Jones Boulder Escape", based on the 1981 film "Raiders of the Lost Ark".
At the beginning of the "Raiders of the Lost Ark" film, in a Peruvian temple, a so-called "Golden Idol" is enshrined. After navigating through a series of terrifying traps, Indiana Jones finally reached the altar where the Golden Idol was located. Although he seemingly succeeded in swapping and taking the idol, Jones' actions still triggered the temple's deadly mechanism, causing it to collapse and a giant boulder to roll down. This thrilling adventure, the scene of Indy being chased by the giant boulder, remains an absolute classic in fans' hearts even today.
This 18 cm tall diorama is quite impressive. In addition to the usual Pop! series' chibi proportions and bobble-head style reinterpretation of "Indiana Jones", his running pose, holding the Golden Idol in one hand and his whip in the other, is very cute. The giant boulder behind him, at first glance, really gives the illusion of Thanos' bald head. The entire diorama not only generally depicts the temple environment but also includes some shattered pillar debris from the rolling boulder. Coupled with the Indiana Jones LOGO at the front, it's truly excellent.
