BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., today announced the latest fifth installment of its new Mobile Suit Gundam-themed Shokugan series, 'MOBILITY JOINT GUNDAM', with 'MOBILITY JOINT GUNDAM VOL.5' scheduled for release in October 2023.
'MOBILITY JOINT GUNDAM' continues the design concept of another Gundam Shokugan series, 'G-FRAME', creating popular Mobile Suits from the 'Mobile Suit Gundam' series in an approximately 3-head-tall proportion. It adopts a common 'MOBILITY JOINT' movable frame structure, with approximately 20 points of articulation throughout the body. The exterior armor also features a high density of detail different from the original settings. Once all parts and stickers are assembled, you get a Mobile Suit approximately 70mm tall!
This fifth installment includes four popular Mobile Suits from 'Mobile Suit Gundam 00': Gundam Exia, 00 Gundam, GN-X, and Gundam Astraea Type F. In addition to their cool designs and flexible articulation, each Mobile Suit also has dedicated EX parts sets for weapon enhancement, allowing them to form Avalanche Exia, 00 Raiser, 00 Gundam Seven Sword, Avalanche Astraea Type F, or for the GN-X to swap to the GN Beam Long Rifle!
