Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's collector toy division TAMASHII NATIONS has announced the first product from the popular anime "Hell's Paradise" in its popular action figure "S.H.Figuarts" series: "Yamada Asaemon Sagiri". The suggested retail price is 8,250 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in October 2023!
The heroine of "Hell's Paradise", Yamada Asaemon Sagiri, hails from the Yamada family, whose profession is execution. She is Gabimaru's executioner. Initially, she was conflicted about her role as an executioner, harboring fear within, and despite possessing top-tier swordsmanship, she couldn't sharply carry out beheadings. Through her interactions with Gabimaru, she came to accept herself and found her path.
The "S.H.Figuarts Yamada Asaemon Sagiri" action figure stands approximately 15.5 cm tall. It meticulously recreates her white-based attire, tied-up long hair, and flowing red hair ribbon with detailed sculpting and paintwork. In addition to a poker face with no expression, it also includes interchangeable face parts such as an angry battle glare, a cute smiling face, a dumbfounded sweating face, and a resigned closed-eyes expression. The scabbard at her waist can be displayed in a sheathed state using interchangeable parts, and her cool drawing-the-sword pose can also be recreated! Display her with "Gabimaru" to recreate scenes from the series!
