Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series "POP UP PARADE", following "Denji", is once again featuring the popular anime "Chainsaw Man" with its latest product, the "POP UP PARADE Aki Hayakawa" PVC figure! The suggested retail price is 4,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in September 2023.
Aki Hayakawa, a character with explosive charm from "Chainsaw Man", is driven by a desire to kill the Gun Devil to avenge his family. He is a loyal subordinate (woof woof) to Makima, a Devil Hunter from Tokyo Public Safety Devil Extermination Special Division 4, and Denji's senior. He wears his hair in a topknot, carries a katana, and possesses a calm and collected samurai-like demeanor. Entrusted by Makima with the responsibility of looking after Denji and Power, he reluctantly but competently fulfills a caretaker role, meticulously handling household chores.
The "POP UP PARADE Aki Hayakawa" PVC figure stands approximately 17 cm tall. It faithfully recreates Aki's signature shirt uniform, upright topknot, and black earrings, presenting him in a cool, sword-drawing pose. His face bears a resolute and stern expression as he prepares to draw his blade. The hem of his jacket and his tie are sculpted to appear as if fluttering in the wind, adding a sense of dynamism to his upright stance and enhancing the overall powerful presence.
